The Wild: Adventure & Destination Sessions
Beyond the Trailhead
Colorado begs for adventure. Whether this state is your home or your weekend escape, you’re likely the kind of person who feels most alive on a trail. Me too.
I know it gets harder with kiddos—the extra gear, the slow pace, the snacks. But we keep headed toward the trailhead anyway, because the wide-open spaces are where we breathe best. My adventure sessions are for the families who find their peace (and chaos, too!) in the thin air and the red dirt of the Rockies.
This isn’t a “stand and smile” session at a local park. We’re heading to the places that make your heart beat a little faster. I’ll sled the Great Sand Dunes with you or wander the gold-dusted aspen groves of Mueller State Park. We can find the dramatic views of the Collegiate Range in Buena Vista, watch the sunset hit the Sangre Cristos, or I’ll join you and your RV at a campfire deep in the San Isabel National Forest.
Perhaps we stay closer to home, finding the magic in the rugged red spires of Garden of the Gods, the hidden creek beds of North Cheyenne Cañon, or the otherworldly colors of the Paint Mines in Calhan. I'm even willing to Summit the Manitou Incline with you!
There is a distinct benefit to choosing the wild over the manicured: it makes for incredible household art. When you look at your walls, I want you to see more than just a portrait; I want you to see a talking piece—a window back into that feeling of mountain air and family connection.
